1. Who we are

RepoBeacon provides software that helps licensed agencies and bailiffs coordinate vehicle recovery work. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

2. Information we collect

• Account data: name, email, role, and a hashed PIN.
• Workspace data: files, agreements, photos, VINs, and chat messages you upload.
• Location data: bailiff device location while on an active assignment, used to plot the live field map.
• Device data: app version, OS, IP address, and basic diagnostics.

3. How we use it

We use this information to:

• operate the Service (assigning files, dispatching, chat, audit logs);
• secure accounts and detect abuse;
• provide customer support;
• comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your data. We don't use customer data to train AI models.

4. Sharing

We share data only with subprocessors that help us run the Service (cloud hosting, error monitoring, payment processing). All subprocessors are contractually bound to confidentiality and security obligations.

5. Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Row-level security ensures only users involved in a file can read or modify it. Per-user 6-digit PINs are hashed server-side and rate-limited; iOS users may add Face ID / Touch ID for local unlock.

6. Retention

We retain account and assignment data for the lifetime of your subscription plus a reasonable period to support compliance and audit obligations. You can request deletion at any time.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Email repobeacon@outlook.com to make a request — we typically respond within 30 days.

8. Children

RepoBeacon is not intended for anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

9. Changes

We'll notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated policy.
